Sprung Studios is looking for a full-time Technical Producer to support multiple consoles and mobile UI development projects.

You will need to be a strong communicator who understands all areas of game production. You will be working in close collaboration with the Production Director, Technical Director, project Producers and the project Leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical planning representative for all projects
  • Gather requirements from our development partners
  • Constant aligning and tracking of the tech team’s goals to fully support the priorities and requirements of the projects
  • Long-term planning in coordination with the project Lead, Producer, and the studio’s TD
  • Short-term planning and goal tracking within the tech team in alignment with the Project Producers
  • Ensure that the QA process is carried out on all deliverables
  • Risk management within the tech team
  • Workflow improvements and production optimizations
  • Tracking TCR/TRC requirements and other external technical certification requirements
  • Managing multiple simultaneous projects

What is required?

  • Knowledge of project management methods and software
  • Good understanding of game development practices
  • Good understanding of system integration and version control
  • Strong communication skills

It will be an advantage if you have:

  • One or more shipped console games as a Producer
  • Experience with JIRA
  • University degree (or equivalent) in engineering and/or management
  • Knowledge of C++ / C#
  • Passion for video games

Salary: Dependent on experience

This is not a remote position!

Based in our Vancouver studio you will be part of a vibrant, multi-cultural team and work on some of the biggest titles on the planet. Working in a zero crunch environment and located in Downtown Vancouver, our studio is looking for the next amazing addition to our team.

You will have responsibility for:

  • Leading and managing projects from start to finish
  • Monitoring team progress and maintaining the project schedule
  • Planning of realistic project scope
  • Ensure that all projects finish on time, adhere to the budget, and meet the high-quality standards required
  • Using good project management techniques to ensure the above
  • Participating in and facilitating meetings with our development partners

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A calm and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experienced in working with teams across time-zones
  • Experience of working in an agile-inspired environment
  • Competence in relevant technology and software
  • At least three years’ experience in a Games Industry leadership-style role with at least one released commercial project on Console, PC or mobile.

Sprung Studios is looking for a motivated HR/Office Admin to join our team in Brighton, UK. The successful candidate will collaborate with human resource and operations teams to support HR practices and objectives. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment with no two days the same, then this could be the opportunity for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the HR Department and Studio Directors with the development, documentation, and administration of HR policies, procedures, programs
  • Responsible for ordering stationery and general office supplies
  • Dealing with any internal maintenance issues within the office as they arise
  • Manage travel arrangements
  • Facilitate training workshops, plan events and team-building activities
  • Organize mid-year check-ins and annual employee performance reviews
  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, including responding to day-to-day questions from employees regarding benefits, payroll, time-off, and other policies & procedures
  • Coordinating recruitment activities, employee onboarding & orientation, and employee offboarding to facilitate the best employee experience possible
  • Preparing HR reports as requested by the HR Team or Studio Directors
  • Maintaining knowledge of regulatory changes, best practices, and trends in HR
  • Administer benefits as needed
  • Order and replenish snacks/drinks
  • Keep meeting rooms tidy and ensure keyboards/mice are charged
  • Keep kitchen tidy and ensure dishwasher is cleaned
  • Performing other duties and projects as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s solid administrative/HR experience in an office or similar environment
  • You will have a positive “can-do-attitude” with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are a must
  • Proficiency with developing processes/workflows and keep up with industry trends
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping other people
  • Understanding of current Employment Laws in the UK and HR best practices
  • HR experience in the gaming industry is an asset
  • Passionate about People Operations and delivering AMAZING employee experiences
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multi-task, and follow up on issues
  • A level 3 CIPD qualification or equivalent would be an advantage
