THE GAME


From the award-winning studio, NetherRealm comes fighting game Injustice 2, the eagerly anticipated sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us. Featuring a huge cast of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, players can customise, power up and battle with the ultimate version of their favourite DC character.

WIREFRAMES


We are delighted to have had the opportunity to work with the experienced team at NetherRealm on three key features of the game: Guilds, King of the Hill and AI Battle Simulator.

We began by creating flows and wireframes, mapping out areas in fine detail. This close attention to all the components helps us to then make key decisions about button placement, typography and consistency.

PROTOTYPING


In order to test how robust a system design is, we create interactive prototypes, button mapping the menu system to a controller. This provides us with the best knowledge of a player’s experience when using the menu structure and playing the game.

Our interactive prototypes were so successful with NetherRealm, the team used them for their own in-house testing. We are very proud of our unique prototype system and the difference they make in our collaboration with a client.

UI DESIGN


Maintaining the style already created by NetherRealm Studios, we designed a series of visuals laying them out for use with Scaleform.
